Uplifting fallen humanity while adhering to the principles of

Who Are We?
We are Moorish Americans - Moorish by nationality, American by birth and Islamic by faith.
What is Our Faith? What Do We Practice?
Our faith is Islam. We practice Islamism. Islamism is the continuation of our system of belief that adjusts based on the broader social, political and cultural context.
What is Islam?
Islam is a very simple faith. It requires man to recognize his duties toward God Allah, his creator, and his fellow creatures. It is preeminently the religion of living at peace with one’s surroundings. The goal of a man’s life, according to Islam, is peace with everything - peace with Allah and peace with man.
We provide food, clothing and temporary shelter to those in need. We work with local organizations to coordinate additional resources as needed.
We advocate for a more restorative criminal justice system; and we collaborate with local organizations to support current and former incarcerated men, women and youth and their families.
Health and Wellness
We assist members in living the connection between faith and wellness, mind, body and spirit in ministry to oneself and others. We host health fairs, health talks and behavioral health/mental health services are offered by a licensed social worker.
Children and Youth
We plan and implement activities for community children and youth. Our goal is to secure our future by investing in our children. We host a back-to-school rally annually in August to provide our children with the tools they need to succeed.
If you, a friend or loved one could benefit from our outreach services or you are able to volunteer to help others, please .
Holy Day and Sunday School services will resume after building repairs are completed.
